Position Responsibilities

Map Render's technology partnership landscape across AI labs, hyperscalers, and emerging developer products
Build the strategy for where Render has the strongest right to win
Own outcomes for the partnerships portfolio, including milestones, timelines, success metrics, ecosystem integration, developer adoption, joint launches, and revenue impact
Drive partnership strategy and execution from evaluation through negotiation, launch, and renewal, including commercial terms
Partner with Product, DevRel, Product Marketing, Finance, and Legal on roadmap commitments, integration execution, co-marketing, and commercial agreements
Scope and lead the development of a Render Marketplace, including customer and partner value proposition, product and engineering requirements, and commercial and financial terms
Manage key partner relationships as primary point of contact
Run business reviews and planning sessions, drive expansion and renewal, and advocate for partners internally
Track and report partnership performance, maintain documentation, and update leadership on progress and launches
Build a team of partner managers as Render scales

Requirements

6–10+ years of experience in strategic or technical partnerships, business development, or product-facing roles at technology companies
Highly technical background strongly preferred, such as former PM, forward-deployed engineer, or engineering experience, particularly within AI
Demonstrated success managing and growing complex, high-impact partnerships across AI, cloud, or developer platform ecosystems
Experience working alongside Product, Engineering, DevRel, Legal, and Finance
Exceptional analytical skills and ability to use data to drive strategic decisions
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to engage at the executive level
Strong bias for action and ability to operate independently and cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment
Hands‑on experience with MCP, plugins, connectors, or app/marketplace ecosystems specifically (nice‑to‑have)
Deep familiarity with developer tools and infrastructure landscape (nice‑to‑have)
