Head of Tool Maintenance

Assume full responsibility for the smooth operation of all technical equipment and systems in the assigned area

Main Responsibilities

• Disciplinary and technical leadership responsibility for the operational area and the department's employees
• Participation in the organization of shop-floor management and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations
• Maintaining training records and assisting with the planning, coordination, and documentation of the competency matrix
• Developing, implementing, and updating changes, tooling specifications, and standards
• Overseeing the final acceptance, adjustment, and inspection of delivered tools
• Initiating and documenting process optimizations
• Initiating the production of fixtures and auxiliary tools
• Implementing improvement measures based on 8D reports and internal complaints
• Organizing work and coordinating and monitoring schedules
• Providing or ordering tools from the external warehouse in consultation with the work planning department
• Responsibility for achieving sub-goals and quality standards
• Creating staff development plans and qualification matrices, and conducting performance reviews
• Collaborating with and supporting other departments
• Ensuring and maintaining order and cleanliness in one's own work area

Required IT Skills

• Knowledge of tool management
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications
