Healthcare Foodservice Strategic Account Manager

Orchestrate US Foods’ integrated delivery network management program
Aggregate purchase volume, improve incentives, maximize contracts, and strengthen relationships with integrated delivery networks
Serve as the key contact between IDN C-Suite teams, GPO, and US Foods National Sales leadership
Create strategic plans for assigned IDNs to support business retention and growth
Build relationships with IDN C-Suite, GPO executives, regional leadership, health systems, and account executives
Understand customer expectations and manage them through strategic action plans
Implement plans and timelines to deliver results
Collaborate with Distribution Centers, Business Solutions, and Menu Solutions teams
Analyze and communicate system results to IDN and US Foods executive leadership
Implement US Foods Business and Menu Solutions tools and processes
Identify, develop, and launch innovative solutions for IDN operations
Conduct monthly calls and quarterly and annual business reviews
Execute the strategic IDN Playbook, including process guides, scorecards, proformas, Trendview analysis, and risk assessments
Coordinate initiatives and business solution implementations with assigned IDNs
Manage correspondence, meeting minutes, and follow-up activities
Perform risk assessments and implement SOS Plans as needed
Identify, participate in, and execute prospective IDN opportunities
Achieve targeted sales plans supporting US Foods’ annual operating plan and healthcare-segment growth
Coordinate team resources and support for IDN strategy results
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customer executives, vendors, suppliers, and third-party consultants

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years’ work experience in the foodservice healthcare industry required
Prior sales experience preferred
Minimum of 2 years’ prior experience as a Business Solutions Specialist preferred
Strategy development and analytical skills
Executive-level presentation skills
Ability to build relationships at multiple organizational levels
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
Ability to lead a team and build consensus
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word)
Proficiency in USF Data Warehouse Applications
Limited experience with Access required
Ability to travel 50%-75% of the time overnight; overnight travel required
Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment
Comfort with ambiguity
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Food Service Management, Dietetics, or another relevant field required
