HR Operations Specialist

Manage and coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities across multiple organizations
Ensure completion of pre-employment, new hire, transfer, and separation requirements
Partner with department leaders, payroll, benefits, IT, and other stakeholders to support the employee experience
Maintain accurate and confidential HRIS employee records throughout the employee lifecycle
Conduct exit interviews and provide trend analysis and recommendations
Administer HR operational processes and monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and employment laws
Track compliance requirements, employee acknowledgements, training completion, certifications, and HR action items
Maintain personnel files and coordinate internal and external audits
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and HR-related inquiries
Support employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, documentation, corrective actions, performance improvement, and employee development
Support employee engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiatives
Coordinate leaves, accommodations, jury duty, military leave, workers' compensation claims, unemployment claims, and related documentation
Liaise with third-party administrators, insurance carriers, government agencies, external vendors, the PEO, and benefits providers
Assist with open enrollment communications and benefits education
Develop and maintain HR dashboards, workforce reports, KPIs, executive reports, and presentations
Analyze headcount, turnover, retention, onboarding, engagement, compliance, and other workforce metrics
Use HRIS platforms, reporting systems, Excel, and vendor technology platforms to improve operational effectiveness
Evaluate HR processes and develop standard operating procedures, workflows, and process documentation
Support organizational initiatives, special projects, strategic HR initiatives, and continuous improvement

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Progressive experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, People Operations, HR Generalist, or related roles
Experience managing onboarding, offboarding, compliance administration, employee relations support, and HR operations
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, reporting, data analysis, and dashboard creation
Experience working with HRIS systems, benefits platforms, applicant tracking systems, and other HR technologies
Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and manage sensitive information
Ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple organizations in a fast-paced environment
Experience supporting multi-entity, multi-location, or shared-services organizations
Experience working with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO)
Experience managing workers' compensation, unemployment claims, leave administration, and agency-related employment matters
Experience building workforce analytics, dashboards, and executive reporting
Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements
HRIC, SHRM, or equivalent HR certification preferred
Authorization to work in the United States
