HV Analysis Engineer (f/m/x)

At Webasto, quality drives product and service excellence across high-voltage battery projects. In this role you will analyze fault causes in battery packs and modules, and help drive continuous improvements in manufacturing processes. You will be the quality contact for automakers and internal teams, solving problems with the battery team and implementing effective measures. This position offers the chance to shape quality practices in a safety-critical domain and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

• Perform fault analysis of battery packs and cell modules with the team and prepare well-founded cause reports
• Promote continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and systems for high-voltage battery systems with focus on quality, cost, and ergonomics
• Serve as a contact person for external automotive manufacturers' quality departments and internal plant teams on all quality topics
• Resolve qualitative product and process issues with the battery team using fault cause analysis methods and define effective corrective actions

• Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in root cause analysis in the automotive industry
• Ideally with focus on high-voltage battery systems, e-mobility, or safety-critical products
• Initial experience in leading interdisciplinary teams (project or sub-project manager)
• In-depth knowledge of automotive standards and methods (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, APQP, VDA 2 PPF, PPAP, FMEA / Control Plan, MSA, SPC, Cp/Cpk)
• Proficient with 8D problem-solving process and effectiveness checks
• Structured and organized working style, self-motivation, ability to motivate the team
• High assertiveness, decision-making ability, teamwork, independence, commitment, and flexibility
• Good German and English skills; willingness to travel nationally and internationally
