Inhouse Operations Consultant (m/f/d)

As an Inhouse Operations Consultant at Heraeus, you drive end-to-end transformation across global supply chain initiatives. You lead transformation workstreams within the Supply Chain Excellence team, shaping new operating models and investment cases. You work closely with shop floor and on-site managers to implement improvements and sustain results. Expect exposure to Lean and Six Sigma programs, digitalization efforts, and cross-functional collaboration in a family-owned, high-impact tech group.

• Lead project modules or workstreams in national and international transformation programs
• Develop robust business cases, target operating models, and implementation roadmaps
• Support and execute improvement initiatives in operational areas, including the shop floor
• Ensure sustainable result anchoring via KPI tracking and capability building
• Apply and advance Lean Management and Six Sigma within holistic transformation programs

• University degree in a relevant field with strong results
• 3–5 years of relevant consulting experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or Performance Improvement
• Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop actionable solutions
• Project or workstream leadership across multiple engagements
• Business-fluent German and English
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with confident communication at all levels
• Willingness to travel 20–60% depending on project demand
• Nice to have: knowledge of Lean Management, Six Sigma or related methodologies
