Investment Associate (m/f/x)

Hamburg-based asset manager for clean energy infrastructure is looking for a Investment Associate (m/f/x) .

Your responsibilities

As Investment Associate (m/f/x) , your tasks will focus on the following areas:

• Actively contribute to deal origination and market screening of new investment opportunities
• Develop, utilize, and analyze financial models and running sensitivities along the M&A process
• Lead workstreams in due diligence and financing processes
• Drive work on investment committee materials and recommendations
• Engage and manage all relevant stakeholders(banks, advisors, developers, suppliers) and lead negotiations as applicable with support from senior management
• Support the transition of investments from financial close to construction and commercial operations, ensuring successful delivery against the original business case
• Support monitoring and active management portfolio assets, tracking performance against underwriting assumptions and driving value creation initiatives

Your profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field with a strong academic track record
• 1-3 years of relevant experience from consulting, banking or private equity / asset management
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, combined with excellent quantitative and analytical capabilities
• Ability to work independently, perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and a structured, data-driven mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and German are mandatory (additional language skills are considered an advantage)
• Strong commercial mindset and interest in infrastructure and energy markets
