Junior Consultant - Allianz Services - Operational Risk and/or Resilience (m/f/d)

In this role you help advise Allianz entities on safeguarding-related strategic developments within a global inhouse team. You work on projects in operational risk and resilience, delivering content, timelines, and milestones with cross‑functional colleagues. You contribute to business development and knowledge sharing to strengthen safeguarding capabilities across the organization. The role blends consulting and project delivery, shaping processes and risk controls in a large, global insurer. You will engage with diverse audiences and potentially benefit from GenAI and IT interests in a collaborative environment.

• Contribute to project deliverables and ensure milestones are met within a client-enabled project team
• Own content delivery for specific workstreams and maintain proactive communication on progress
• Prepare communications and project timelines for assigned activities
• Support business development and client pitches under supervision of Engagement Manager or Principal Consultant
• Share best practices and new trends to enhance knowledge management and safeguarding capabilities
• Contribute to internal Allianz Services projects, including trainings and team events
• Support day-to-day operations of assigned tasks

• 1–2 years of experience in safeguarding functions (operational risk/Non-financial risk/resilience) including internships or student positions
• Experience in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) or Internal Risk & Controls Systems, preferably with risk & control frameworks
• Relevant experience in Business Continuity Management, IT Service Continuity, Incident or Crisis coordination, or resilience areas
• Experience with risk assessments, monitoring, reporting, internal controls testing, or mitigation solutions (a plus)
• Knowledge of insurance/financial services or consulting methodologies is preferred
• Experience in project management, change management, or initiative development and implementation
• Experience with client management in a consulting context and client focus
• Strong English communication skills; German a plus
• Interest in IT and Generative AI (GenAI) is valued
• PowerPoint and Excel skills; familiarity with GRC tools preferred
