As a Lead Advisor on our Wealth Management team, you'll provide comprehensive support to our high net worth clients ($2MM+) throughout their journey with us. Unlike traditional wealth management roles, this position is fully salaried with no commission structure or sales targets. Your performance will be evaluated on a balanced scorecard focused entirely on delivering world-class client experiences.
Provide exceptional onboarding experiences for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition to Wealthsimple.
Develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to each client's unique situation and goals.
Create custom investment proposals that align with clients' financial objectives and risk tolerance.
Proactively service client accounts, anticipating needs before they arise.
Maintain regular communication with clients through phone, video, and in-person meetings.
Apply your financial expertise to complex client situations involving corporations, trusts, and estates.
Contribute your insights to improve our service offering and client experience.
CFP or IQFP designation required.
CIM or CFA designation required.
At least one of the following additional designations is required:
Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) — Family Enterprise Canada.
Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) — STEP Canada.
Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) — CSI / AIWM.
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) — CPA Canada.
CPA In-Depth Tax Program — CPA Canada / CICA.
Master of Taxation (MTax), Maîtrise en fiscalité (M.Fisc.) or Master of Laws in Taxation (LLM).
Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) — Advocis.
Master Financial Advisor – Philanthropy (MFA-P).
Certified Executor Advisor (CEA).
