Lead Deployment Architect - AI

In this Lead Deployment Architect - AI role, you are the technical authority for strategic Celonis accounts, shaping end-to-end solution architectures and AI-augmented delivery at scale. You bridge pre-sales and post-sales, setting standards, driving complex integrations, and steering multi-workstream engagements. You collaborate with executives and engineers to deliver measurable outcomes and long-term value. This is a chance to influence platform best practices and accelerate transformative AI deployments.

• Define end-to-end Celonis solution architectures across enterprises and geographies
• Design secure, scalable integration patterns and data strategies
• Make architectural trade-offs aligned to customer outcomes
• Own solution quality and ensure adherence to standards across engagements
• Design AI deployment workflows and agent orchestration for multi-workstream projects
• Create reusable specs, templates, and patterns for deployment engineers
• Serve as senior technical advisor to strategic customers and support pre-sales with credibility
• Guide customers through Process Intelligence maturity and platform expansion
• Collaborate with Deployment Engineers to implement complex use cases and ensure production readiness
• Develop domain expertise and translate it into scalable patterns and best practices
• Contribute to hiring, enablement, and knowledge sharing within the practice
• Feed customer insights back to Product & Engineering to influence roadmap

• 8+ years in technical consulting, solution architecture, or delivery leadership in enterprise software or SI firms
• 3+ years in senior/lead technical role with multi-stakeholder responsibility in large-scale projects at tier-1 organizations
• Proven ability to design multi-component solutions spanning data integration, process intelligence, automation, and AI
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture patterns and trade-offs
• Expert-level Celonis platform knowledge (Process Intelligence Graph, data modeling, advanced PQL, automation/orchestration, AI modules) with Python familiarity
• Experience designing AI-augmented delivery workflows and multi-agent systems; knowledge of AI validation at scale
• Domain expertise in at least one process domain or industry vertical
• Strong executive presence with VP/C-level stakeholders; ability to defend architectural decisions
• Excellent consulting & communication skills; experience leading workshops and strategic reviews
• Leadership and mentoring experience; ability to raise team performance
• Fluency in English and German
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant fields
