Lead People Operations & Strategic HR Business Partner (m/f/d)

As an HR Business Partner at ATOSS, you will be the trusted people advisor to Finance, IT, Legal, and Digital Transformation, shaping people strategy and leading operational HR excellence through a small admin team. You combine German labour law expertise with a track record in fast-paced tech environments. You will partner with senior leaders to design organizational structures, talent development, and change initiatives aligned to ATOSS goals. • Act as the primary HR partner for Finance, IT, Legal, and Digital Transformation, aligning people strategies with business growth
• Advise leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, performance, compensation, and engagement
• Identify capability gaps and collaborate with L&D on targeted development programs
• Utilize HR data and analytics to guide evidence-based decisions with leaders
• Support change management and ongoing digital transformation initiatives
• Ensure people structures and ways of working align with efficiency and performance goals across functions
• Serve as in-house expert on German labour law and related employment documentation
• Manage works council relationships and draft/maintain employment-related agreements
• Monitor regulatory developments in German/European employment law and translate into policy
• Drive automation and AI adoption in HR processes while complying with GDPR/BDSG
• Lead, develop, and mentor two HR Admin professionals
• Oversee HR admin outputs, payroll inputs, data integrity, and lifecycle documentation
• Continuously improve HR admin processes with automation and AI tools
• Champion AI and automation in HR workflows, including analytics and reporting

• 10+ years of progressive HRBP experience, ideally in SaaS/tech
• Exceptional knowledge of German labour law; German lawyer qualification (first and second state exams) is a strong advantage
• Experience drafting and reviewing German employment contracts and related documents
• Hands-on experience working with a Works Council
• Knowledge of European labour law frameworks a plus
• Experience evaluating AI & automation tools in HR/legal operations
• Proven people management experience and coaching of direct reports
• Digital-first mindset with technology-enabled HR processes
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and people analytics tools
• Ability to translate data into HR insights
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with C-suite and front-line managers
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
• Experience supporting IT/Digital Transformation/Engineering teams (advantageous)
• Familiarity with European employment law beyond Germany (advantageous)
• Experience in scale-up/hyper-growth environments (advantageous)
• Prior exposure to HRIS implementation or HR process automation (advantageous)
