Lead Specialist Identity Access Management (m/w/d)

In this role you steer the conceptual direction and transformation of our IAM landscape. You will translate requirements from business and IT into sustainable concepts and advise stakeholders on how to implement them. You’ll optimize core IAM processes and shape future target architecture while retiring the current SAP Identity Management solution. You’ll partner across teams and with external partners to drive complex IAM initiatives and ensure alignment with business strategy.

• Define the strategic direction of IAM and guide its evolution
• Analyze requirements from business units and IT to develop solution concepts
• Optimize IAM processes and ensure efficient deployment across enterprise apps
• Design technical and functional IAM concepts considering existing architecture
• Lead complex IAM initiatives with internal teams and external partners
• Steer the IAM transformation including retirement of SAP Identity Management and design of future target architecture
• Contribute expertise in cross-functional discussions and promote best practices
• Support the team with resolving complex challenges

• University degree in a relevant field or comparable qualification
• Several years of hands-on IAM experience and requirements management
• Strong ability to map business processes to enterprise applications
• Practical experience with modern IAM solutions, preferably Microsoft Entra ID
• Proven skills in process analysis, modeling, and optimization
• Strong understanding of business-IT alignment and strategic impact
• Experience steering complex initiatives with diverse stakeholders and partners
• Excellent communication skills in English and German
