Overview

In this role you will provide independent oversight of the firm’s liquidity activities as part of FRM's Liquidity Risk Department. You will identify and monitor liquidity risks, challenge business strategies, and report to senior management and regulators. You’ll lead risk review projects, support stress testing, and ensure robust risk reporting. This is a chance to shape liquidity risk governance in a global bank and work closely with Treasury and risk teams.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Identify and assess key liquidity risks and monitor liquidity risk indicators
  • Maintain dialogue with business units, Corporate Treasury and risk teams on strategy, risk representation, limit compliance and liquidity stress testing
  • Prepare and present briefings to senior management and governance bodies
  • Execute risk review projects to improve identification, monitoring and management of liquidity risk
  • Communicate analysis results to stakeholders and produce high-quality reporting for Boards and Regulators
  • Review and challenge existing liquidity stress models
  • Support liquidity risk oversight of reserve modeling and risk communication to senior management
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, finance or quantitative discipline (preferred)
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in a large financial institution
  • Strong understanding of liquidity risk, including intraday risk, across products (derivatives, funding, equities, bonds, FX, credit, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data and propose solutions
  • Experience using SQL for data extraction and analysis
  • Ability to work independently in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Interest in a fast-paced, international setting with multiple high-priority deliverables
  • Fluency in English; another European language is advantageous
