Senior Expert Risk Management (m/f/d)

In this Senior Expert Risk Management role, you act as a trusted advisor on business risk and opportunities within EPC projects. You will prepare decision papers, perform risk analyses, and influence bids and project decisions in an international team. You collaborate across regions to validate risk assessments and support mitigation, aiming to strengthen project performance and strategic outcomes. This is a hands-on position that shapes risk management practices and documentation across global bids and projects.

• Coordinate opportunity-risk analyses with regional partners under internal guidelines
• Review analysis results, recommendations, and approval conditions with line manager
• Individually review project performance and risk indicators
• Conduct independent risk reviews and support mitigation activities with business teams
• Contribute to development and improvement of risk databases and checklists
• Assist with departmental reporting as required

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or related field
• At least 3 years of project management experience in an EPC environment
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering and construction industry, including technical, legal, schedules, commercial, and HSE aspects
• Strong analytical approach and good communication skills
• Fluency in English; German is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint); knowledge of scheduling/PM software is an advantage
