Overview

In this role you drive expert risk and opportunity management across the full project lifecycle, aligning with Exyte’s risk standards. You partner with project leadership to identify, assess, and govern threats and value opportunities, delivering transparent reporting to senior management. You collaborate with proposal and delivery teams to gather critical inputs, helping to steer decisions and improve project outcomes. This role combines technical and analytical work in a dynamic, cross‑functional environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Lead and continuously improve the Risk & Chance Management process across the project lifecycle, aligned with policies and tools
  • Serve as the project‑level process owner, partnering with the Project Director/Project Manager
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities across disciplines and phases
  • Plan, facilitate, and moderate risk and opportunity workshops with stakeholders
  • Apply qualitative and quantitative risk assessment methods (cost, schedule, probability/impact) and guard against optimism bias
  • Ensure clear ownership and actionable mitigation or enhancement measures for all risks/opportunities, with tracking and escalation
  • Maintain the Risk & Chance Register as the single source of truth and provide governance‑compliant reporting to Project Directors and Senior Management
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • University degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, or related discipline, plus professional project experience
  • Recognised risk management certifications (e.g. PMI‑RMP, APM Risk Certificate, IRM, ISO 31000 training); PMP/PRINCE2/APM PMQ are assets
  • Experience in EPC(M) or complex construction projects across the full lifecycle
  • Strong project controls background: scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, cost control
  • Hands‑on experience with quantitative risk analysis (Monte Carlo) to assess schedule and cost uncertainty
  • Commercial, contractual and regulatory awareness with knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, insurance/bonding requirements
  • Analytical mindset with clear reporting and stakeholder communication capabilities
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital risk/project tools
  • Fluent in English; German is an advantage
