Overview

In this Logistics Manager role at Newrest, you will oversee the end-to-end logistics chain for the unit, ensuring smooth warehouse, packing, equipment, dishwashing, and hygiene operations. You’ll lead a cross-functional team, drive cost control, and uphold QHSE standards to support on-time flight catering services. You will collaborate with site management and other departments to ensure performance KPIs are met and improvements are embedded. This role offers hands-on leadership in a dynamic, international environment with a strong growth orientation.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Oversee the end-to-end logistics chain: warehouse, pick-and-pack, equipment, dishwashing, and kitting for rotable production
Control stock value, supplier use, forecasts, flow management, and subcontracting to reduce costs
Anticipate operational risks and align resource needs with department managers
Assign tasks to the team to meet deadlines and KPIs (customer satisfaction, QHSE, OTP, productivity, costs)
Conduct regular audits for process compliance and perform root-cause analyses to resolve failures
Provide clear leadership to logistics team and involve all members in continuous improvement
Ensure adherence to Newrest Germany commitments to customers
Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the perimeter
Coordinate HR activities: scheduling, tracking hours, handling irregularities, and regulatory compliance
Manage performance reviews, disciplinary interviews, and integration of new staff
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, HACCP, allergens policies, and PPE use
Maintain and service production equipment and fleet using group tools (e.g., Winrest)
Support security and incident reporting related to equipment and facilities
Foster a strong QHSE culture and safe working environment
