MAC Senior Project Manager

Stellenbeschreibung:

All over the world people are using buildings, infrastructure, and assets we helped to deliver. It could be the hospital they work in, the railway they travel on every day, the fuel that powers their car or the data centre they depend on at work. For more than 75 years we’ve been helping to deliver transformational programmes across the real estate, infrastructure and natural resources sectors, making a difference to people’s lives and ensuring a return on investment for our clients and their investors.

Job Description

As MAC Senior Project Manager, you will be the central point of coordination for workplace transformations for leading corporate clients. You will manage a varied project portfolio — from minor office alterations and interior fit‑outs (small works) through to large‑scale relocations, reconfigurations and decommissioning projects (MAC: Moves, Adds & Changes). You will ensure every project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and in alignment with our sustainability commitments.

Working closely with clients, supply chain partners and internal teams, you will act as the primary contact for all move‑ and small‑works‑related matters, whilst actively contributing to the growth of our MAC service line across Germany.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management – Smallworks

  • Lead and coordinate minor refurbishment works, interior alterations and technical fit‑out projects within corporate office environments.
  • Manage scope, programme, budget and quality standards for all small‑works assignments.
  • Manage and provide contractual oversight of contractors, installers and specialist suppliers.
  • Supervise on‑site delivery, ensuring full compliance with QHSE standards and building regulations.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, scope changes and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Management – MAC (Moves, Adds & Changes)

  • Manage MAC projects end‑to‑end: corporate relocations, workplace reconfigurations, additions and decommissioning.
  • Serve as the primary client‑facing contact throughout the full project cycle — from initiation to handover and post‑project follow‑up.
  • Plan and execute move projects in accordance with the MAC Playbook and project toolbox, including move matrix, RACI and stakeholder register.
  • Manage FF&E inventories and apply the Circular Economy Policy (reuse, donation and sustainable disposal) on all projects.
  • Coordinate dismantling, transport, reconfiguration and delivery of furniture, equipment and workplace fittings.
  • Carry out or oversee FF&E audits to support strategic workplace decision‑making.
  • Prepare quotations, scopes of work and contract variations for both small‑works and MAC assignments.
  • Monitor project margins and fee revenue; identify opportunities for additional scope and value‑added services, escalating commercial and margin decisions to the MAC Operation Director.
  • Analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations; negotiate optimal value‑for‑money outcomes.
  • Contribute to the MAC service line's business development agenda across Germany.

Stakeholder Management & Reporting

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, facilities managers, HR teams and local supply chain partners.
  • Prepare clear project reports and progress updates for clients and internal leadership.
  • Conduct project evaluations and produce lessons learned documentation and case studies upon completion.
  • Actively promote MAC services to existing and prospective clients.

Qualifications

A minimum of three years’ demonstrable experience in project management within a corporate or facilities management environment.

A proven track record in delivering small‑works, refurbishment or office fit‑out projects (technical or construction background).

Experience of MAC processes (corporate moves, relocations, decommissioning) is advantageous.

Knowledge of supply chain management, contract administration and working with contractors and trade contractors.

A genuine commitment to sustainability, circular economy principles and Net Zero objectives.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2020+ and/or space planning or CAFM software is desirable.

Turner & Townsend is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and actively encourage applications from all sectors of the community.
