Senior Software Project Manager

The SciNova team are looking to speak with Senior Software Leaders for a newly created, greenfield role with an international MedTech organisation HQ'd in Bavaria. You'll be responsible for leading the planning and execution of SW/Application programmes for one of their most successful BU's.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong project management capabilities with a solid developer background who is also comfortable managing multiple priorities, driving projects through ambiguity, and establishing effective processes that enable teams to scale and succeed.

Role responsibilities

Lead and coordinate software development projects from initiation through release.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.
Manage project risks, dependencies, and issues while ensuring timely resolution.
Facilitate project meetings, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
Ensure software development activities comply with applicable quality and regulatory requirements - MDR, FDA, ISO 13485, SaMD etc.
Support development teams in defining priorities, managing scope, and achieving project milestones.
Navigate complex and evolving requirements while maintaining project momentum and focus.
Balance multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Role requirements

Degree educated in an Engineering discipline - Software, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical etc.
Proven experience managing multiple complex software development projects/programs simultaneously.
Previous hands‑on experience working as a Developer using C++ is essential.
Experience working within the medical device industry is highly desirable.
Experience working effectively in ambiguous environments where requirements may evolve over time.
Fluent English and Proficient German.
