Construction Manager – MEP | Data Centres (Germany - Multiple Locations)

I'm currently supporting a leading organisation delivering hyperscale and mission-critical data centre projects across Germany. They are looking for an experienced MEP Construction Manager to oversee the successful delivery of complex data centre developments from construction through commissioning.

The Opportunity

As the MEP Construction Manager, you'll be responsible for leading on-site MEP delivery across large-scale data centre projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards. You'll coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage specialist subcontractors and play a key role in delivering world-class critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the construction delivery of MEP systems across hyperscale and mission-critical data centre projects.
• Manage and coordinate mechanical, electrical and public health subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure construction activities are delivered safely, on programme and in accordance with project specifications.
• Develop and monitor construction schedules, identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Chair site coordination meetings and drive collaboration across all construction disciplines.
• Monitor compliance with HSE, quality and commissioning requirements.
• Oversee inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging and project handover.
• Manage defect resolution and ensure timely close-out of all outstanding works.
• Support commercial teams with progress reporting and contractor performance management.

What They're Looking For

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing MEP packages on hyperscale, mission-critical or major industrial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction methodologies and commissioning processes.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors within fast-paced EPC or General Contractor environments.
• Excellent knowledge of health & safety, quality standards and construction best practice.
• Proficiency in German, both written and spoken and professional English.
• Willingness to travel across Germany and the DACH region as projects require.
• Full German driving licence preferred.
