• Define the operational backbone of energy products (tariffs, flexibility services) for mass-scale use
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear product/engineering specifications (e.g., §14a EnWG, Stromsteuer, dynamic grid fees)
• Design fully automated workflows for core energy processes (market communication/MaKo, billing validation)
• Set technical and procedural standards for interacting with DSOs/TSOs and traditional energy players
• Partner with Product Managers during discovery to identify regulatory hurdles and design scalable workarounds

• 7+ years at the intersection of Energy Economy and Product/Process Design
• Proven track record designing scalable energy processes implemented in software
• Deep understanding of energy market design with German focus
• Ability to translate regulatory policies (EnWG, MsbG) into logics for product requirements
• Strong systems mindset: logic-first approach to regulatory complexity
• Excellent English and German skills (German mandatory for reading regulation)
• Experience communicating across Product, Tech, and Energy domains
