YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You own operational procurement for fleet services end to end: Full accountability for sourcing, contracting, and managing the supplier base that supports repair, logistics, reconditioning, and damage detection across all corporate countries. You build the commercial frameworks that turn external spend into reliable operational capacity.
• You drive supplier performance management at scale: Define KPIs, build review cadences, and hold suppliers accountable on quality, turnaround, and cost. You don't wait for problems to surface — you run the governance that ensures the highest performance levels.
• You align procurement with operations and country teams: Work hand in hand with repair, logistics, and damage detection leads to ensure procurement decisions are grounded in operational needs. You translate what the business needs into what the market can deliver — and push back when the two don't match.
• You benchmark continuously and challenge the status quo: Monitor market developments, identify alternative suppliers, and bring new options to the table before the business asks. You treat every renewal as an opportunity to improve terms, not just extend.
• You ensure contract compliance and financial control: Own the commercial terms that govern fleet spend — pricing models, SLAs, penalty clauses, volume commitments. You make sure contracts are enforceable, transparent, and aligned with the company's financial targets.

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Experience You bring several years of experience in operational procurement or strategic sourcing in a service-heavy environment and have a track record in fleet, logistics, mobility, automotive, or similar. You have sourced and managed suppliers that deliver complex physical services or goods.
• Negotiation You negotiate commercially and operationally; you don't just squeeze price, you structure deals that balance cost, quality, and reliability. You understand total cost of ownership and can hold your own in a room with supplier leadership.
• Organizational Skills You bring structure to complex, multi-country supplier landscapes, have managed supplier portfolios across geographies, built category strategies, and run performance management frameworks — not just individual vendor relationships.
• Soft Skills You operate between strategy and execution and are equally comfortable presenting a sourcing strategy to senior leadership and reviewing a contract clause with legal. You don't lose sight of operational impact when optimizing commercial terms.
• Languages Fluent English required; German is a strong plus.
