Product Manager (f/m/d) - SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Localization

In this role you drive localization for SAP Global Trade Services focused on European import/export declarations. You translate regulatory requirements into innovative, compliant features for a global customer base and work autonomously within SAP’s Globalization team. You will shape strategy, roadmap, and automation for EU trade processes, impacting how customers meet local laws and operate across markets. • Develop and execute the GTS strategy for European import/export declarations and maintain a responsive roadmap
• Innovate compliance automation for EU and country codes with global awareness
• Serve as the main contact between engineering, compliance, brokers, and customers
• Build relationships with customs authorities and support sales and implementation
• Gather stakeholder input and translate customs rules into specs and user stories
• Ensure accurate localization and validate regulatory compliance of the product
• Represent customers in development, resolve escalated issues, and collect feedback

• 10+ years in product management, trade compliance, and logistics
• Extensive SAP GTS implementation experience
• Managed complex portfolios and cross‑functional teams
• Knowledge of S/4HANA (preferred)
• Expert in European customs, SAP GTS architecture, and data integration
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Fluent English; ability to create specifications and presentations
• Experience with other SAP trade compliance solutions (preferred)
• Customs/trade compliance background (preferred)
• Exposure to regulatory change management and AI (preferred)
