Product Owner, Innovation, Battery Energy Storage Systems

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end responsibility for an innovative, customer-focused product
• Drive successful market introduction and profitable growth
• Actively shape system compatibility, seamless integration and technological innovation across diverse application environments
• Define and further develop integration standards
• Ensure compatibility with inverters, EMS, Smart-Home and Smart-Building systems
• Create technical specifications and manage interfaces in close cooperation with Engineering to derive clear product requirements and user stories
• Identify, evaluate and pilot new technologies and industry standards
• Conduct market and competitor analyses, including roadmaps, market trends, regulatory requirements and the international competitive landscape
• Derive market-ready solutions from customer needs, regulatory requirements and grid-technical constraints

Requirements

• Excellent technical understanding and broad expertise in BESS
• University degree in Engineering, Business Administration (BWL) or a related field
• Deep knowledge of product development with a strong customer focus
• 3 years of experience in electrical building technology, PV-storage or the stationary battery industry, or in the renewable energy sector is desirable
• Knowledge of relevant PV-storage standards, particularly regarding grid connection and grid-support requirements in the European market
• Very good German and English language skills
• Very good PowerPoint skills and strong presentation abilities
