Project Leader, Risk & Compliance – Market & Commodity Risk (Energy Trading)

In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver tailored market and commodity trading risk solutions, with emphasis on energy markets. You will drive global projects across trading strategy, risk governance, and technology transformation, while contributing to thought leadership on AI and digital risk management. You will support clients in optimizing energy trading operations and front-to-back risk integration. You will collaborate closely with client teams and mentors, shaping risk analytics and market dynamics in a fast-paced, international setting.

• Lead cross-functional project teams on market and commodity trading risk initiatives
• Drive global projects covering trading strategy, market entry, operating models, and risk governance
• Contribute to thought leadership on AI, digital risk management, and regulatory developments
• Support clients in optimizing energy trading operations, including risk governance and stress testing
• Assist with front-to-back risk process integration
• Build on-site client relationships and provide guidance on trading risk transformation
• Mentor and coach consultants in risk analytics and market dynamics

• Experience leading market and commodity risk projects, ideally in energy trading
• Proven ability to lead international, cross-functional teams during transformations
• Consulting experience advising senior stakeholders on commodity risk and trading
• Familiarity with advanced analytics, risk systems, and digital tools for trading and risk management
• Excellent communication skills suitable for C-suite discussions
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
