Project Manager, Global Projects

Overview

• Independent development of transport solutions and preparation of offers for worldwide transport within the scope of our projects, incorporating multiple modes of transport.
• Sole responsibility for planning, implementation and operational execution as well as economic responsibility for the projects and assignments entrusted to you.
• Rate negotiations with carriers and freight forwarders, as well as procurement, scheduling and booking of freight space.
• Processing inquiries and call-offs from our global Global Projects & Industry Solutions network.
• Communication with key stakeholders at customers, partners and service providers.

Requirements

• Successfully completed training in transport/logistics or a related degree and relevant professional experience, ideally in project business
• Strong enthusiasm for logistical topics and technical challenges
• High communication and intercultural competence for working in an international environment
• Service- and customer-oriented mindset, team player
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
• Good to very good English skills, both written and spoken
