Project Manager (m/f/d) - Railway Construction, Fluent Italian

Your mission that drives sustainability in logistics

As Project Manager(m/f/d) - Rail Construction, Fluent Italian you will be responsible for the managementand coordination of rail construction projects mainly in Italy. As part of ourTerminal Project Team, you will be largely responsible for the continuousgrowth of the CargoBeamer network. You will ensure that all cost andfeasibility aspects are taken into account throughout the entire projectprocess, thus enabling sustainable transport in Europe.Your workplace isLeipzig with occasional remote work opportunities.

Yourresponsibilities include:

• Developing and coordinating project plans, schedules, and budgets for railway construction projects in Italy. You will work closely with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to project goals and timelines.
• Supervising all aspects of construction work, monitoring progress, quality, and safety standards, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, including schedule, resource allocation, and budget management, and identifying opportunities for cost savings to ensure project profitability.
• Identifying and resolving issues that may impact project progress, contributing significantly to the successful expansion of the CargoBeamer network.
• Ensuring effective project coordination, visualization, and collaboration by introducing and utilizing the BIM (Building Information Modeling) method.

Your Background & Skills

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in project management, preferably in infrastructure construction projects.
• Familiarity with Italian construction laws, regulations, and safety standards. Knowledge of processes, techniques, regulations, and industry standards in railway construction in Italy is advantageous.
• Ability to integrate and contribute to our existing BIM workflow structure.
• Consulting skills and a strong ability for interdisciplinary thinking and collaboration.
• Proficiency in Italian, English, and German languages.
