Project Team Lead (m/f/d) SAP PLM

Overview

The SAP PLM Project Team Lead steers the PLM workstream within our S/4HANA ERP transformation program, ensuring a standardized global template and integrated PLM solution. The role oversees solution design, implementation readiness, governance adherence, and cross‑team coordination while supporting data‑centric and simplified processes.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the SAP PLM global template for processes and integration.
  • Ensure delivery quality for solution design, configuration, and WRICEF objects.
  • Validate extensions for compliance with global design principles.
  • Plan, manage, and report workstream scope, risks, milestones, budget, and resources.
  • Ensure testing readiness and support PLM‑related test cycles.
  • Coordinate with other SAP workstreams to enable consistent end‑to‑end integration.
  • Manage internal resources and external partners.
  • Apply program governance related to data, design, and implementation standards.
  • Promote ERP design principles and cross‑functional alignment, supporting process simplification, standardization, and data‑centric design.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Longstanding experience in SAP and/or PLM rollout projects, including leadership and coordination roles.
  • Experience with PLM solutions such as Teamcenter or SAP PLM, including integration.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English.
  • Experience with project management methodologies; PM certification is a plus.
  • Experience managing budgets, resources, and partner engagements.
  • Experience working in international, multicultural teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to approx. 20%.
