Team Lead Project Execution Order Management

As Team Lead Project Execution Order Management, you lead a team of Project Managers within the Converter Factory in Nuremberg. Your mission is to ensure stable, reliable, and customer-focused project execution throughout the entire project lifecycle. You enable your team to deliver complex customer projects successfully while driving accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers, fostering ownership, accountability, decision‑making, and a high‑performance culture focused on execution excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure on‑time, cost‑efficient, and high‑quality project execution across the entire project lifecycle while maintaining business continuity and operational stability.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for critical project situations, ensuring transparent management of project risks, schedules, resources, and delivery performance.
  • Drive cross‑functional collaboration and actively manage interfaces between Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Tender Management, Quality, Customers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and efficiency initiatives to enhance project execution, predictability, and operational performance.
  • Support the transformation of the Order Management organization into a best‑in‑class project execution function through continuous improvement and organisational development.

What You Bring

  • Successfully completed degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
  • Long‑term professional experience in project execution, project management, operations, or a related industrial environment.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, develop, and empower teams, combined with strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Passion for driving change, continuous improvement, and operational excellence with a high level of ownership, accountability, and customer orientation.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and decision‑making skills, complemented by a collaborative and team‑oriented mindset.
  • Experience working with SAP and Microsoft Office applications, along with fluent German and English language skills.
