Quality Ingenieur Operations (f/m/x)

As a Quality Engineer at Webasto, you will ensure top-tier quality in battery pack and cell module manufacturing. You act as the liaison for automotive manufacturers’ quality departments and internal plant teams, driving issue resolution through root cause analysis and effective corrective actions. You contribute to quality planning and product approvals, integrating quality management across projects from start to finish. You will work with cross-functional teams to uphold standards and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced automotive environment.

• Serve as point of contact for quality topics for automotive manufacturers and internal plant teams
• Resolve product and process quality issues with the battery team using root cause analysis
• Apply quality planning (APQP), risk analyses (P-FMEA), and production control plans
• Conduct inspection equipment and process capability studies
• Lead product approvals (PPAP), auditing, and manufacturing process approvals

• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3
• Good knowledge of quality tools (APQP, PPAP, 8D report)
• English language skills and willingness to travel occasionally
