R&D Materials/Procurement Buyer ICB2

As a Procurement Buyer in Broadcom’s R&D context, you will manage end-to-end sourcing for R&D materials and equipment, while providing project support across multiple initiatives. You’ll onboard new suppliers, manage spend tracking, and align forecasting with R&D leadership. Your role blends commercial procurement with project-controlling tasks, driving improvements in a dynamic R&D environment. You’ll collaborate with R&D management, finance, and legal to enable smooth operations and compliance.

• Execute full procurement process for R&D materials and fixed assets from RFQ to PO and receiving
• Onboard new suppliers following compliance and trigger contractual agreements
• Track and analyze R&D project spending and support forecasting and controlling
• Grow into multi-project evaluation and drive process improvements across functions
• Participate in R&D project meetings to present results, updates, and improvement proposals
• Maintain tight collaboration with R&D management, project leads, finance, and legal

• Advanced professional qualification at DQR/EQF Level 6 or a practice-oriented bachelor’s degree in business, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management, or relevant commercial/technical Ausbildung with experience
• Very good Microsoft Office skills, especially advanced Excel for financial calculations and data analysis
• Solid ERP knowledge, preferably Oracle
• Financial process training and strong numerical reliability for purchasing, invoicing, and budget data
• Interest in technical components for interaction between R&D and suppliers
• Experience in electronics, semiconductor, or mechatronics is advantageous
• German and English proficiency
• Strong team player and communicator, ability to work with global teams
• Willingness to learn new tools and drive improvements in procurement and R&D administration
• High accuracy and discretion handling confidential information
