We are seeking research assistants (wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter) (m/f/d) to join our Financial Regulatory practice at our Frankfurt office.

Financial regulatory law is one of the most dynamic areas of public law. Our regulatory team advises financial institutions on all matters of banking, securities, payment services and investment law - from licensing to winding up. We understand the traditional issues of corporate governance at banks and financial services institutions; capital and compliance requirements; and outsourcing - as well as the regulation of banking groups, financial conglomerates, payment services providers, investment funds and their management companies; anti-money laundering; and remuneration policies for management board members and other executives.

Your role

You’ll work closely with our lawyers and assist on ongoing client work. You’ll conduct legal research, analyse legal issues and present your findings in a clear and structured format. You’ll also contribute to drafting, reviewing and revising pleadings, contracts and other legal documents, as well as - depending on your practice area – academic publications.

You can start at any time – during your university studies, your doctorate, or while completing your practical legal training.

Your profile

First (or first and second) state examination(s), each with a grade of fully satisfactory (vollbefriedigend) or better
Very good command of English
Interest in business-related issues and challenging work
Enthusiasm for applying innovative technologies in the legal profession
