Sales Engineer Service Medium and Low Voltage - Southern Germany Region (f/m/d)

In this role you drive the acquisition of service projects in power transmission and distribution from Southern Germany. You will work remotely from a home office and collaborate with the Service Operations team to grow service offerings and maintain key customer relationships. You will develop concepts for converting and modernizing switchgear, monitor market dynamics, and support contract negotiations. This position suits a proactive seller who thrives on customer solutions and cross-functional teamwork. You’ll help shape ABB’s service growth and customer impact in a regional market.

• Acquire new service projects and maintain contact with existing customers
• Advise and support customers on service matters and identify potential for additional service business
• Create solution concepts for conversion and modernization of switchgear and components
• Continuously monitor market and competitive landscape
• Monitor offers and assist in contract negotiations
• Support and advise colleagues in project planning and execution

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power engineering; or Technician/Master craftsman in Electrical Engineering
• Several years of professional sales experience or a sales-related role, ideally in service
• Knowledge of Salesforce (advantage)
• Fluent German and good English
• High customer and market orientation; strong negotiation and communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 85%
