Sales Manager / Germany Mid Market

As a Manager of Business Development at Amex GBT you drive new SME corporate client acquisition by leveraging technology and tailored solutions. You build influential relationships with senior stakeholders to demonstrate Amex GBT’s software, services, and integrated travel management offerings. You shape proposals, negotiate contracts, and guide new customers through implementation, contributing to revenue growth and market share. • Prospect and conduct discovery with decision makers to identify needs and articulate value
• Develop deep product knowledge and communicate differentiators to the market
• Lead value proposition selling, contract negotiation, and closing new customers
• Prepare and present proposals, RFIs/RFPs, and other customer-facing materials
• Oversee contract closing and coordinate smooth implementation with the onboarding team
• Aim to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales goals and KPIs
• Collaborate with internal teams to generate new sales within territory and spend segment
• Maintain accurate records, quantify ROI, handle objections, and ensure compliant, coordinated client experiences

• 2+ years of sales achievement in tech/SaaS with targets exceeded
• Advanced proficiency with pipeline management, proposal management tools, sales enablement tools, and CRM tools
• Strong prospecting and pipeline prioritization skills based on value and win probability
• Results-driven and adaptable with a competitive mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for stakeholder buy-in
• Tenacious networker able to establish and expand relationships, including cold outreach
• Strong financial acumen and ability to translate data into actionable sales insights
• Willingness to travel 25–50% and capability to work remotely
