SAP Data Migration Technical Lead (m/w/d)

As Principal Consultant, you will own the end-to-end SAP data migration architecture and execution across systems, guiding complex data loads and ensuring data accuracy and regulatory alignment. You will lead the Data Migration team, collaborate with clients, and mentor developers to deliver high-quality migrations. You will design ETL processes and implement load programs using ABAP and SAP tools, while coordinating with functional teams to validate data. This role supports Infosys’ digital transformation mission and emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, risk management, and delivery excellence. You will operate in Germany, delivering impact across multiple SAP migration initiatives.

• Coordinate and manage repeatable data load and migration processes for SAP implementations
• Oversee the Data Migration team in identifying, extracting, cleansing, mapping, and loading master and transactional data into SAP systems
• Provide expert guidance on data assessment processes and procedures
• Advise and take accountability for ETL design and implementation
• Manage and coordinate data load activities across all migration phases
• Develop load programs using ABAP or SAP tools such as LSMW, LTMC/Migration Cockpit, ALE
• Perform manual data transformation from legacy systems to SAP-compatible formats
• Execute manual and automated data loads using SAP or other automation tools
• Work with functional consultants to validate data and resolve errors
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all data loads into the SAP system
• Own end-to-end data migration architecture, strategy, and execution across systems and platforms
• Lead data profiling, mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
• Define migration tools, frameworks, standards, and cutover plans with risk mitigation
• Provide hands-on technical guidance, mentor migration developers, and review code and deliverables
• Act as primary technical liaison with business, QA, infrastructure, and program stakeholders
• Ensure timely, compliant, and zero-defect migrations aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements
