Senior Account Manager – Remote‑Friendly Growth Leader

As our Senior Account Manager, you won't just manage accounts. You'll drive commercial opportunities end to end – from the first conversation and discovery through to customer growth. Our commercial motion is built around two areas: activating new customers and expanding existing ones. In both cases, you'll thoroughly understand customer needs to drive compelling commercial solutions.

Your Role

• Own commercial targets and revenue growth: You are responsible for driving revenue growth across new and existing customers. You engage proactively with leads as well as existing customers and run structured discovery to understand their recruitment workflows, challenges, and commercial potential. You translate these insights into the right solution and commercial approach, adapting your strategy to move each opportunity forward.
• Run discovery and own the full sales cycle: You take ownership of opportunities from discovery and all the way through to negotiation and closing. You proactively turn customer’s potential into revenue, activating new customers and unlocking new opportunities with existing ones.
• Drive data-led expansion: You leverage platform usage data and market signals to spot off-platform spend, underutilized potential, and expansion opportunities before customers ask. Opportunities are driven by data and potential, not a fixed portfolio, allowing you and the team to engage proactively and turn insights into commercial action.
• Act as a trusted advisor: You represent GOhiring as a strategic partner in every customer interaction using market and technology insights, and you feed customer feedback to Product and Operations internally.
• Scale the playbook: You help build and refine our Activation & Expansion playbook, commercial workflows, and the tech-touch motion that allows our product to guide customers forward between human touch-points.
• Own escalations with confidence: You lead customer communication during incidents and escalations, coordinate cross-functionally, and maintain trust throughout.

Your Profile

• Full written and spoken fluency in German and English.
• Multiple years of experience in Account Management or consultative B2B SaaS sales. You've owned commercial targets and have hands-on experience across the full sales cycle - from proactive outreach and discovery through negotiation and closing.
• Proven track record in both new business and expansion with existing customers. You're comfortable engaging both warm and colder opportunities, know how to create momentum, and have successfully driven revenue through acquisition, activation, expansion, or upselling.
• Data-driven and analytical. You translate usage signals and spend data into commercial action (experience with tools like PowerBI is a plus).
• Excellent communicator capable of navigating stakeholder landscapes across different levels of complexity.
• You thrive in high-autonomy, lean environments, creating structure where there isn't any, and improving it where there is.
• Comfortable with product discussions and API integrations.
• Nice to have: experience in HR Tech / recruiting software, marketplace or platform businesses, or operational SaaS.
