Senior Accountant, Bookkeeper

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable, order management and invoicing
• Processing and monitoring payment transactions; reviewing and posting travel expense reports
• Preparation of VAT returns, recapitulative statement (EC Sales List) and statistics
• Participation in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Support in designing and implementing processes for a growing company structure
• Close collaboration with the Controlling/FP&A team

Requirements

• Completed commercial training or a degree, ideally with a focus on accounting, taxation or finance
• Several years of practical experience in accounting
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel
• Good user knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One (SAP B1) — not a requirement for hiring
• Communicative and respectful team player
• Reliable, able to work independently, with a holistic and logical approach
• Fluent German and good English skills

Core Competencies

Demonstrates expertise in accounts payable and receivable, financial statement preparation, and VAT return processing. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, with strong communication skills in both German and English.
