Requirements

  • Solid affiliate marketing experience in the cryptocurrency space
  • Experience in building large affiliate networks from start to finish
  • Solid project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Understanding of fundamental affiliate customer acquisition KPIs and optimization methods to improve performance through data analysis and segmentation
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data to drive strategic decisions
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
  • Goal-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets
  • (Desirable) Experience working across time zones and cross-cultural teams
  • (Desirable) Bonus points if you have previously worked at a crypto exchange, trading company, CFD broker!

What the job involves

  • We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Business Development Manager to join our team, specifically focused on high-volume Affiliates, Trading Communities and KOLs
  • As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our network of Affiliates (Key Opinion Leaders, Trading Communities, Traffic Websites), and (secondarily) VIP clients - in the Netherlands and the broader Western part of the European Union. This role is responsible for those partnerships from a to z
  • Primary goal: maximize revenue in the region through onboarding and retention of affiliates
  • Secondary: Expand the user base and grow awareness of the OKX brand
  • Affiliate Recruitment: Proactively search for and attract new affiliates, KOLs and trading/crypto communities and influencers, fostering strategic partnerships to enhance our network
  • Results-Driven Approach: Implement strategies and campaigns to drive measurable results, focusing on creating content, increasing trading volume, acquiring new users, and promoting active transactions through affiliate channels
  • Relationship Building: Manage and enhance relationships with local crypto influencers and KOLs, being in contact with them frequently, build partnerships with influencers for the purpose of user acquisition
  • Partnership Expansion: Initiate and participate in meetings with partners, exploring opportunities to expand cooperation and strengthen existing relationships, both locally and internationally
  • Collaboration with Product Team: Collaborate closely with colleagues from the product department, providing valuable market insights to optimize product offerings and attract qualified users
  • Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on competitors' advantages and industry trends, utilizing this knowledge to refine our strategies, maintain a competitive edge, and capitalize on market gaps
