Senior Consultant (m/f/d) - Allianz Consulting - Insurance Transformation

In this role you partner with Allianz stakeholders to drive strategy and transformation. You will own modules within a workstream, evolving from strategy to design and delivery, improving processes and operating models. You guide teammates, manage day-to-day governance, and ensure value through measurable outcomes. You'll contribute to business development and expand Allianz Consulting expertise in strategic areas. • Deliver modules of complex strategic and transformation projects, including business case and financial modeling, and shape new operating models
• Manage day-to-day project governance: steering committees, delivery, risk tracking, timelines, and executive communications
• Collaborate closely with client teams and guide consultants and analysts within your module
• Inform Engagement Manager and workstream lead on progress, risks, and dependencies, proposing solutions to issues
• Analyze business needs via benchmarking, due diligence, and market trends to identify improvement opportunities across the insurance value chain
• Contribute to business development and client pitches with solution concepts and materials
• Share knowledge to grow Allianz Consulting expertise through internal projects and events
• Ensure effective stakeholder communication and maintain strong client partnerships throughout the project lifecycle

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a comparable field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years in strategy or management consulting with focus on transformation, M&A, or due diligence
• Solid knowledge of AI and GenAI frameworks with daily AI tool usage and ability to support AI adoption for business transformation
• Experience in large-scale projects or PMO environments
• Hands-on experience in strategy development, business planning, and operating model design with strong analytical problem solving
• Curiosity about insurance/financial services and consulting methodologies
• Confidence in communicating with diverse audiences and seniority levels
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills with complex modeling
• Fluent in English
