(Senior) Finance Transformation Specialist – D365 & Automation (m/f/d)

In this role you bridge Finance, technology, and transformation to evolve our global Finance landscape using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. You work with Finance, IT, and partners to translate requirements into scalable D365 solutions, drive ERP improvements, and explore automation and AI. You’ll lead end-to-end delivery from design to go-live, shaping how Finance operates today and into the future in a multinational setting. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of finance expertise and digital transformation with a meaningful impact on efficiency and digital readiness.

• Act as functional expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance
• Translate Finance requirements into functional system solutions
• Drive continuous development and optimization of D365 Finance
• Conduct Fit-to-Standard and Fit-Gap analyses
• Manage Finance requirements and backlog items
• Support ERP implementations, rollouts, and system enhancements
• Coordinate Finance, IT, Key Users, and external implementation partners
• Support testing, UAT, data migration, go-live, and stabilization
• Support D365 release and change management
• Identify automation and digitalization opportunities across Finance
• Develop and implement solutions with Finance and IT
• Promote Power Automate, Copilot, and Microsoft technologies
• Identify and evaluate AI use cases for Finance
• Support AI pilots and Proofs of Concept
• Contribute to the continuous development of the Finance systems and data landscape

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a comparable qualification
• 5–10 years of experience in Finance systems, Finance transformation, or Finance process improvement
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance / Finance & Operations
• Strong understanding of core Finance processes: R2R, P2P, O2C, and Treasury
• Experience with ERP implementations, rollouts, or transformation projects
• Ability to translate Finance requirements into functional system solutions and drive implementation
• Strong ownership and pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in an international environment; fluent English, ideally German
