Senior Financial Analyst - Corporate Finance (Technology)

In this role you join Houlihan Lokey’s Technology Team in Frankfurt to support high-impact advisory work for technology clients. You will build and explain financial models, drive due diligence, and craft materials for client engagements, while developing relationships with clients and professionals. The role blends analytical rigor with client-facing execution in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver data-driven insights and value-driven outcomes, with substantial responsibility and opportunities to advance.

• Prepare and analyze historical and projected financial information
• Build and maintain financial models and valuation analyses
• Coordinate and perform business due diligence
• Create confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and marketing materials
• Value companies and businesses
• Lead planning and execution of marketing engagements
• Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships
• Supervise junior staff in financial analyses
• Assist in marketing and planning of engagements

• German and English fluency (excellent verbal and written)
• Strong academic record
• 2–5 years of investment banking experience (M&A/generalist/industry)
• Technology sector knowledge is a plus
• Solid understanding of valuation methodologies and applications
• Advanced financial modeling (LBO and DCF) and analytical skills
• Qualitative and quantitative research capabilities
• Financial statement analysis including key assumptions and caveats
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent work ethic, organization, and multitasking ability
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
