Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, Generative AI, Google Cloud

As a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer, you embed with strategic customers to bridge frontier AI products and production-grade reality. You will code the connective tissue between Google’s AI stack and a customer’s live environment, enabling robust, secure integrations. You’ll build high-performance evaluation and observability pipelines to meet accuracy, safety, and latency targets. This role blends hands-on development with customer collaboration to scale agentic AI solutions and influence product direction. You’ll join a high-autonomy, founder-minded team delivering real impact at enterprise scale.

• Transition prototypes to production-grade, agentic workflows
• Architect and code integration layers between Google AI products and customer infrastructure (APIs, legacy data silos, security perimeters)
• Build evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks to ensure accuracy, safety, and latency requirements
• Identify repeatable field patterns in Google’s AI stack and convert them into reusable modules or formal feature requests
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to embed Google-grade development practices
• Embed with strategic accounts to deploy complex AI systems and address production blockers
• Help shape product roadmap by translating field insights into enhancements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of software development experience using Python or similar languages
• Experience delivering production-grade AI solutions from concept to launch and architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (GCP)
• Experience building data pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions
