Forward Deployed Engineer III, Google Cloud Consulting (German)

In this role you will lead the development of production‑grade AI workflows that bridge frontier models and customer environments. You will implement scalable agentic systems, integrate Google AI products with clients’ infrastructures, and build robust evaluation and observability pipelines. You’ll transform field learnings into reusable modules and features for engineering teams. This role offers a high‑agency, builder‑consultant experience with direct impact on enterprise AI adoption.

• Design and ship complex AI applications from prototype to production with agentic workflows
• Connect Google AI products to customer infrastructures, APIs, and data perimeters
• Build high‑performance evaluation pipelines and observability to meet accuracy, safety, and latency targets
• Identify repeatable field patterns and friction points in Google’s AI stack and convert them into reusable modules or feature requests
• Code and debug within customers’ environments to deliver bespoke agentic solutions
• Serve as a trusted AI advisor and inline builder to accelerate customer outcomes and inform product roadmap

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years designing, building, and deploying NLP models and Generative AI agents
• Experience implementing DevOps and MLOps pipelines
• Experience building generative AI solutions in a customer‑facing role
• Experience in ML infrastructure (model deployment, evaluation, data processing, debugging) and Python
• Fluent German for client relationship management in the region
