Senior Land Acquisition Manager

A leading renewable energy developer is continuing to expand its footprint across Germany. As part of its continued growth, the business is looking to appoint a Senior Land Acquisition Manager to secure land for a substantial pipeline of utility-scale renewable energy projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced land acquisition professional to take ownership of strategic land acquisition activities, working closely with project development, legal and technical teams to identify, negotiate and secure new project opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure land for utility-scale renewable energy projects, primarily onshore wind.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with landowners, municipalities and key local stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations of land lease and purchase agreements.
• Assess the suitability of potential project sites from both a commercial and technical perspective.
• Work closely with internal project development, legal and engineering teams throughout the development process.
• Monitor regional market activity and identify new opportunities for project growth.
• Represent the business during meetings with landowners, authorities and other external stakeholders.

Your Profile

• 5-7+ years' experience in land acquisition within the renewable energy sector.
• Proven experience securing land for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Strong understanding of the German permitting and project development process.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially minded with the ability to develop long-term partnerships.
• Willingness to travel within Germany as required.
