Senior Launch Operations Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role you pilot configuration management for the launcher system and lead flight readiness and launch campaign activities. You oversee modifications, operator instructions, and technical issue resolution, while coordinating cross‑functional teams to ensure mission success. You shape hardware/software development for missions and validate flight capability, contributing to a fast‑growing, environmentally conscious space company. You will be at the core of mission assurance, driving safe, compliant operations in a dynamic program.

• Pilot configuration management for the launcher system
• Authorize proposed modifications in program committees
• Approve operator responsibility instruction files per laws
• Monitor launcher production and industrial processes with a launch operator perspective
• Lead post-flight analysis and steering committee facilitation
• Validate anomaly sheets and closure of technical issues
• Participate in working groups on major anomalies
• Contribute to development of mission-specific hardware/software
• Justify flight capability during launch campaigns as Deputy/Launch Director
• Review anomalies and exemptions in campaign milestones and support validation

• Engineering school graduate or equivalent European university
• At least five years of experience in the space sector, especially with launchers
• Expertise in electrical and/or propulsive systems and/or launcher integration
• In-depth knowledge of launch operations
• Familiarity with laws and regulations applicable to space operations
