Key Responsibilities:

• Build, coach, and mentor a team of software engineers.
• Deliver foundational components for multi-agent systems and lead adoption of protocols like MCP and A2A.
• Partner with Product, Platform, and Data Science teams to embed AI capabilities across Atlassian.

Requirements:

• 8-10+ years in software development with at least 4+ years in people management.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML platform engineering, model serving, or agent frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Go, and experience with high-scale distributed systems.
