Senior Manager – Development Accounting Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage engagement workflow and project timelines.
• Coordinate development accounting activities from pre‑development through project completion.
• Review project budgets, development cost schedules, and sources and uses statements.
• Assist in financial modeling and transaction analysis.
• Coordinate investor reporting and lender reporting requirements.
• Monitor project expenditures and financing compliance requirements.
• Review supporting documentation for cost certification and tax credit calculations.
• Supervise accounting staff assigned to the engagement.
• Participate in project status meetings and provide management updates.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with affordable housing, real estate development, or public housing accounting.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
• Proficient in financial modeling, transaction analysis, budget review, cost certification, tax credit calculations, project accounting, expenditure monitoring, and financing compliance.
• Excellent communication and supervision abilities.
