Senior Manager Group Accounting & IFRS (m/f/d)

In this role you will lead IFRS and local GAAP revenue recognition across 20 countries, shaping robust financial reporting in a cloud-first fintech environment. You will drive close processes, consolidate group reporting, and advise on accounting policy and controls to enable scalable, accurate results. You’ll partner with audits and cross-functional teams to deliver transparency and continuous improvement. • Lead end-to-end revenue recognition for software licenses, SaaS, and professional services under IFRS and local GAAP across 20 countries
• Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for revenue and related accounts
• Prepare, review, and analyze IFRS and HGB financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow)
• Coordinate and consolidate group reporting activities and support internal/external reporting
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation for audits
• Support internal and external audits as a key contact for revenue and reporting topics
• Continuously improve financial systems and processes with focus on automation, efficiency, and scalability

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 6+ years in accounting, ideally software or professional services
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and HGB
• Experience with financial statement preparation, group reporting, and consolidation
• Experience with SAP ERP, preferably S/4HANA
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly
• Fluent in English and German
