Senior Manager, Group Accounting, IFRS

Lead the end-to-end process of revenue recognition for software licenses, SaaS, and professional services, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP for 20 countries
Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for revenue and related accounts
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements under IFRS and HGB
Coordinate and consolidate group reporting activities
Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation
Support internal and external audits as a key contact for revenue and reporting topics
Improve financial systems and processes, focusing on automation, efficiency, and scalability in a cloud-first environment
Advise the business on revenue and financial reporting topics

Requirements

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a big plus
6+ years of experience in accounting, ideally in the software or professional services space
Deep knowledge of IFRS and HGB
Strong experience in financial statement preparation, group reporting, and consolidation
Experience with SAP ERP, preferably S/4 HANA
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Confidence to communicate complex topics clearly
Fluent in English and German
