(Senior) Manager (m/w/d) – Power Market Advisory

As part of Baringa’s Power Market Advisory, you will lead market assessments and modelling to support strategic decisions for energy clients in Germany and Central Europe. You’ll guide due diligence, portfolio considerations, and tender activities, translating complex analysis into actionable recommendations. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams and clients to shape value‑driven outcomes in a fast‑moving energy landscape. • Lead market assessments across German and Central European wholesale power, renewables, storage, and PtX/clean molecules
• Oversee development and enhancement of datasets, models, and analytical frameworks for market fundamentals and asset revenues
• Manage buy‑ and sell‑side due diligence for renewables, storage, and early‑stage low‑carbon assets
• Steer asset dispatch, hedging concepts, and portfolio optimisation to inform trading strategies
• Structure, price, and submit bids for government tenders and auctions in Germany and Central Europe
• Develop compelling client deliverables (executives memos, dashboards) and maintain strong client relationships throughout delivery
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and manage project workstreams to ensure delivery

• Deep understanding of German and Central European power markets, policy, regulation, and commercial structures
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in management consulting or internal Power Market Advisory roles
• Strong analytical capabilities applied to energy market fundamentals and asset modelling
• Experience with commercial structures and routes to market for power generation assets
• Project management experience and ability to oversee modelling teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; proven client-facing collaboration
• Willingness to work across different market contexts and support model development
• English language required
