Senior Manager Payroll (Social Security) (m/f/d)

In this role you ensure compliance with federal social security regulations and manage Global Mobility payroll at the HQ. You lead a specialists team, standardize processes and drive payroll-related projects. You communicate policy changes to stakeholders and support audits. You work with HR and Finance to uphold regulatory standards and improve efficiency, contributing to a compliant, well-governed payroll function.

• file social security contributions and statutory information timely
• lead and develop a team to meet deadlines
• design and implement standardized processes
• maintain policy and procedure documentation
• drive HR/payroll projects related to social security and global mobility
• perform monthly and year-end payroll activities and audits
• ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• communicate policy changes to employees and stakeholders
• act as SME for social security and related rules
• manage relationships with external vendors and authorities
• support HQ reporting and audits
• revise guidelines and define cross-department workflows
• participate in projects within own area of responsibility

• 8+ years in payroll administration with focus on Social Security
• 2+ years managerial experience
• experience in shared service environment preferred
• strong English and German, MS-Office, SAP-HR/FI knowledge
• familiarity with payroll accounting, tax filings, and audit support
• ability to handle complex enquiries and provide solutions
